The world’s first AI-based smart palm oil mill

AIREI’s Minsawi Industries mill in Kuala Kangsar became, in The Star’s words, the world’s first palm oil mill to adopt AI — officiated by Minister of Plantation and Commodities YB Datuk Seri Johari, with a plaque unveiling, a data-room walkthrough and an MoU signing.

On 19 November 2024, YB Datuk Seri Johari, Malaysia’s Minister of Plantation and Commodities, launched AIREI’s AI-based Smart Mill at Minsawi Industries in Kuala Kangsar, Perak — unveiling the commemorative plaque, touring the data room and witnessing an MoU signing.
