Malaysia’s national certification platform

The council launched MSPO Trace on 18 November 2019: Certification Modules to hold the record, a Traceability Module to follow certified material. On 6 October 2020 its chief executive wrote to thank AIREI for completing it. Read the letter · what it means for a buyer

IOI Edible Oils — Kernel Crushing Plant, Sandakan, Sabah

A tailored MyPalm build for the kernel crushing plant. On 18 June 2021 the general manager, Ir. Shyam Lakshmanan, wrote of “the encouraging development of the tailor made MyPalm” and the next demonstration. He also speaks on camera in AIREI’s film. Read the letter · hear him say it

Sime Darby Plantation — Kempas Palm Oil Mill

A three-month proof of concept of the MyPalm Maintenance and Production Modules, 1 October to 31 December 2021. Plantations et Huileries du Congo — Yaligimba

MyPalm taken to site and taught to the people who run it, replacing a manual system. Levi Lutete, area general manager at Yaligimba, says so on camera in AIREI’s film. “A good system which will allow us to control our data well and record our data reliably.” Hear him say it

“MPOCC would like to thank you and your team for the successful completion of the MSPO Trace IT Platform.”

Two modules came out of it. The Certification Modules hold the database behind the scheme. The Traceability Module manages certified material — the same job, at national scale, that the traceability product does for one mill.

If your crop carries an MSPO certificate, the platform behind it is one this team was asked to build, and finished. When traceability arrives at your gate, that is who answers the phone.

A 41-year-old mill,
and what came out of it.

Minsawi Industries at Kuala Kangsar runs eight instrumented stations. Two of its operating figures are in print, with the column that carried them named beside each.
